How does the refundable bond work?

The $55 bond is built into the hire price and returned to you once the garment is inspected and deemed to be in original condition. Refunds are processed within five business days of the return date. Excessive wear, damage, or late returns may affect eligibility for a full bond refund.

Do you offer local pickup?

Yes, local pickup is available by appointment from our studio at 45 Daisy Street, Greystanes NSW 2145. After your order is confirmed, you’ll receive a collection schedule and instructions. Returns must be made to the same location by the agreed date.

When will I get my order?

Orders are dispatched in time for your selected hire period, ensuring your garment arrives on or before the scheduled start date. For standard shipping across Australia, we recommend allowing 1–2 business days for delivery, depending on your location.

What if the dress doesn’t fit?

Refunds are strictly accepted only in cases of incorrect sizing. If you receive a dress and the fit is unsuitable, you're eligible to apply for a refund — subject to the guidelines outlined on our Refund Policy page. We highly recommend checking measurements and reaching out to our team before booking for fit advice or to arrange a try-on, where available.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is completely free — One way! That means additional charges for delivery on return is responsible by the consumer when you hire a dress from Dressed by Elle. Standard postage is included in every hire across Australia, so you can focus on your look without worrying about the logistics.
